This  image (left) was taken from the greyscale album cover,and turned into the strong black & white image (below left).  This takes a lot of time but is the most important part of the design process.

This was then used to create the final wood-cut below.

It’s cut from 6 mm thick, pale, fine-grained baltic-birch plywood, on a 6 mm thick black background.

It’s 30 cm wide x 33 cm tall.
