Stag2:

This one is sort of an inverse of the original ‘Stag 1’.

i.e. the piece that was cut out of the other was used to make this one.

So this one is cut out from the background, rather than sitting proud of it.

It’s cut from 6 mm thick, pale, fine-grained baltic-birch plywood, on a 9 mm thick background.

I couldn’t decide whether to have the stag in black and the background white, or the other way around.

I think I prefer it this way.

It’s about 25 cm wide x 36 cm tall.
